The smallest things brighten an evening. I’m currently hobbling my way around the latter part of my working holiday – yesterday was no different. The hot temperatures coupled with too much standing on one foot last week as I painted an awkwardly wall-hung piece of furniture seem to have done the respective tendons absolutely no good at all.
Anyhow, on my moderately lame way back from a Pepsi and a pincho at the nearby hotel (Spanish omelette: egg and potato – sadly, no onions), and as the sun set stunningly on the other side of the Spanish oak trees that surround us, I snatched a couple of photos with my smartphone. One you can see below. A little darker might have made for a better picture. But, even so, it’s a nice example of what we might care to call “treelight”, no?
